Daina is an actor, director, mime and drama educator. Her most recent directing credits include Shrunken Heads, The Miss
Firecracker Contest and The Black
Remote (PTE’s Young Company), Etoile
(a KDSZ show/Winnipeg Fringe 2011), Much
Ado About Nothing and A Midsummer
Night’s Dream (MTYP’s Shakespeare Company), and Ebb
& Flo (Green Kids Inc.). Daina
was also proud to be Assistant Director on Age
of Arousal (TPM, 2009).
Daina was last seen on stage in Sarasvati Transformative’s Jail Baby. She has also played the stages
of RMTC, WJT, SIR, Theatre Calgary, The Winnipeg Folk Festival, and The
Winnipeg and Saskatoon International Children’s Festivals.
She has also performed in many productions
for film and television. She has toured
the province with her mime work and is a proud founding member of The
Talentless Lumps.
Daina is also Executive Director of Green Kids
Inc., where she gets to help create, direct, design and perform
environmentally-friendly theatre in schools across the country.
